She holds a BA in Writing and Literature from California College of the Arts and is a Southern Esesu Endeavor fellow. They are the recipient of the San Francisco Foundation/Nomadic Press Literary Award for Poetry (2021) and have received a Pushcart Prize nomination for fiction.
